I grew up in Indiana and enlisted into the Air Force after graduation from High School in 1956. In 1962, I went to work for the Federal Aviation Administration as an Air Traffic Specialist. After numerous interesting assignments, my last position in the FAA was Southwest Regional Branch Manager for Air Traffic Airspace and Procedures in Ft. Worth, TX. I was also a pilot.
I retired from the FAA in 1993 and went back to college. The emphasis of my study was art and art history. I have been active in the Roswell Fine Arts league since moving to Roswell in 1995. Also, I am a member of the Board of Trustees for the Roswell Museum and Art Center.
I mostly paint in oils on canvas; however, I do some works in ink on watercolor paper. I do mostly landscapes and enjoy painting old abandoned houses. With my aviation background, I also paint and draw aviation subjects.
My work can be seen at "THE GALLERY" in Roswell.
