The Gallery will host a reception on Sunday, June 1 from 1-4 p.m. to open an exhibition by Nogal textile artist, Karen Smith. Her contemporary art quilts have both a geometric and spiritual quality, and are noted for their color, pattern, texture and ethnic themes. She is also known for her labyrinth designs. Smith is the founder and keeper of Kindred Spirits Sanctuary, a retreat in Nogal, and has participated in the Lincoln County Art Loop. Smith's exhibition will continue through July 26.
